with Stuart Turner engine in central housing with hinged mahogany lids, aft benches on either side, brass makers’ plaque designed and built by Morgan Giles Ltd the shipyard Teignmouth, Devon England the back with oval metal plaque inscribed ASDBC Windermere 1990 together with rudder and two oars

Francis Charles Morgan-Giles (1883-1964) was a boat designer and builder from Devon, England. He built rowing boats, dinghies, yachts and large motor cruisers. His boats were known for their high quality, elegance and craftsmanship.
